Important news for beer lovers: on 22 and 23 April 2023, Zythos vzw is organizing the 18th Zythos Beer Festival in collaboration with the City of Kortrijk and LandMarck. For the first time they set up their tents in Kortrijk. Just like the previous editions, beer lovers can indulge themselves in dozens of test stands. Some brews can only be tasted at the festival.
After 8 editions in Sint-Niklaas and 9 in Leuven, the Zythos Bierfestival moves to the LandMarck-Hal K along the Weggestenlaan in Kortrijk. Here too, the stands will be manned by more than 100 Belgian breweries and beer companies and you can taste more than 500 beers in exchange for tokens. You can purchase these in presale from mid-January via www.zbf.be. The tastings take place in ZBF tasting glasses of 10 cl. Exhibitors charge 1 or 2 tokens for a tasting glass, depending on the type of beer.
The Zythos Beer Festival is an ode to the rich Belgian brewing tradition. The main motivation for organizing this festival is on the one hand to introduce visitors to a selection of more than 500 Belgian beers in a wide range of beer styles, flavours, aromas and colors and on the other hand to give the Belgian breweries/beer companies a platform on which they present their beers to an international audience.
