Admission / Prices
To gain access to the ZBF2022 you need to purchase a starter pack.
The starter pack for beer tasters includes the ZBF tasting glass, the program booklet, 10 tokens and admission on 1 day (Saturday or Sunday – price 26€) or on both days (price 31 euros).
For non-beer drinkers there is a special BOB package at €10 that, in addition to the entrance, also contains 2 tokens for soft drinks.
Additional tokens are sold at 1.60€/piece at the cashier “tokens”. Payment can be made in cash, but preferably electronically (Payconiq or by card).
Our tokens can be used at the beer stands and the soft drinks stand, but not at the food stalls.
If you are a member of Zythos vzw or another EBCU affiliated association, then you will receive 2 free tokens at the information stand, upon presentation of your membership card.
No individual tasting glasses are sold.
When you leave ZBF you can return your glass: you will then receive 2 € back and a contribution will also be made to the Children’s Cancer Fund of the UZ Leuven. But of course you can also take your glass with you. And if you have a glass from a different year, you can exchange it for a 2022 glass.
Broken or damaged glasses are not returnable. And if you have a broken glass, you can obtain a new glass at the cashier in exchange of a deposit of €3.
In presales you enjoy a 10% discount on the starter packs and you can also buy additional sets of 10, 20, 30 or 40 tokens with a 10% discount. You pay online and receive a confirmation ticket per person. With this ticket (printed or on your smartphone) you come to the special entrance “presales” and on Saturday you get access to the hall one hour earlier so that you can be the first to discover all the beers.
Every visitor with a valid ticket will receive a wristband. You also need this to complete the electronic consumer trophy poll during or at the end of your visit. Keep your wristband on if you bought a 2-day ticket (otherwise you have to buy a starter pack again on Sunday!).
Zythos organizes a FREE shuttle bus from Leuven Station to the Brabanthal and back (see below – accessibility).
The Brabanthal has a spacious, payable car park, managed by Brabanthal itself. You pay 4€ for a ticket, valid for the whole day. Use of the parking is at your own risk. Zythos vzw and Brabanthal cannot be held liable for any damage. Touring buses park for free in the car park provided for this purpose.
ATTENTION… The regulations of the Brabanthal prohibit overnight stays on its sites, in whatever form.
Brabanthal also operates a guarded cloakroom (directly at the entrance) and the toilets, located between the foyer and the hall and only accessible from the hall.
