With public transport
Leuven is located at a junction of the Belgian rail network. There are regular trains from all over the country. For the latest departure times to the most important cities in Flanders, we refer you to the website of the NMBS. There you will also find a handy travel planner to quickly calculate the ideal departure and return time.
Several cities are also connected to Leuven Station via the buses of “De Lijn”. You can easily plan your route from your home address to Leuven Station on the website of “De Lijn”.
An additional advantage for our international visitors: Leuven can be reached directly by train from the airport, Brussels National.
FREE shuttle bus Leuven station
The ZBF organizes a FREE shuttle bus from Leuven Station, bus platform 14, to the Brabanthal and back.

By car
Brabanthal is strategically located in the heart of Brabant, on the Meerdaalboslaan (N25), an express road that connects the Tiensesteenweg (N3) with the Geldenaakse Baan.
- 4 km south-east of Leuven centre
- 7 km from the junction of the E314/A2 with the E40
- 1 km from the E40, exit no. 23a Haasrode-Heverlee
- direct connection via motorways to Brussels, Liège, Hasselt…and smooth connection via main roads to Sint-Truiden, Tienen, Mechelen

Directions from the E40
Take exit 23a and follow the direction Haasrode. At the second traffic lights, turn right. On the left you will find Brabanthal.
Route description coming from the Tiensesteenweg (N3)
At the intersection with the expressway Meerdaalboslaan (N25), turn onto the N25. At the first traffic lights, turn left. On the left you will find Brabanthal.
Make sure you also have a responsible driver at your disposal.
